For Kids
JDRF Ambassador Program 2011-2013: This unique program was created to empower children between the age of 6 – 18 with T1D. They are given the opportunity to provide diabetes education to the public while helping JDRF. Our Youth Ambassadors accept the responsibility to represent JDRF in public settings and help steward our mission. This program also offers social opportunities to all members that promote friendships, support of each other, and good times!

The JDRF Kids website features pen pals, kids’ art, information about dealing with type 1 diabetes day-to-day, and more. There’s also a special section for kids newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and their families and friends.
